Kelly Mullins began twirling with the Tennessee Twirlers when she was 9 years old.
She loved the sport and began competing on TTI’s teams, traveling across the country.
Individually, she won the Gold medal in Pre-Trials and went on to twirl for the Pride of the South Marching Band as a Feature Twirler for the Ole Miss Rebels during 2002-2006.
During college and the years after, she began training and moving up the ranks for her judge’s certification and is now a USTA Master Judge which is the highest attainable judging level within the national organization.
Kelly has judged at numerous levels of competition including the International Cup in Rome, Italy.
Currently, Kelly is the West Tennessee Coordinator for the Tennessee Twirlers and lives outside of Memphis with her husband and 2 sons. She is very involved in the sport as she is the President of the Tennessee Baton Council and Vice-President of the Southeastern Region Baton Council. She teaches across the southeastern area.
