Madison McGinness started twirling with the Tennessee Twirlers at the age of 7, winning her first TTI title at the age of 9. She went on to compete at the State, Regional, and National level individually and with TTI teams for the next 11 years. Madison won the Gold medal in individual Pre-Trials in 2001, and she was a National Champion with TTI teams for 7 years. At the University of Memphis, she marched with the Mighty Sound of the South as feature twirler, Silver Girl, and Tigerette Captain. In 2007, Madison brought home the Gold medal (along with the Golden Girl) in Collegiate Pairs at the Intercollegiate U.S. National Baton Twirling Championships. Her most exhilarating baton twirling moment was performing for a sell-out crowd at the FedEx Forum during the Tigers’ historic 38-2 basketball season of 2007-2008.
Currently, Madison resides in Cordova and is a USTA Professional Member. When not working as a nurse case manager, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and two dogs.
